LEGALISATION OF DOCUMENTS

Legalization and Authentication

All documents must be duly authenticated by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Abuja before they can be legalised by the High Commission including Birth certificates, Marriage certificates and Declaration of bachelor- or spinsterhood/ Affidavit of single status.

Requirements:

  • An application letter addressed to the Consular Section, Nigeria High Commission, Lusaka.
  • Actual document to be legalized
  • Receipt/ confirmation of payment
  • A self-addressed envelope.

AGE DECLARATION

Requirements

  • Photocopy of valid Nigerian standart passport and 2 photograph
  • A sworn affidavit of age declaration from a High Court legalized at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Nigeria and receipt of legalization fee.
  • Fee: $20.

Non-Objective Letter

Requirements

  • Application letter to the Embassy.
    Photocopy of Nigerian Passport.
  • Admission letter from University of study.
  • Name clearly written in English Language.
  • Fee: $20

Identification Letter

Requirements

  • Letter of Application
  • Two passport photographs
  • Photocopy of valid data page of
  • Nigerian Passport
  • Any other document that can proove identity – drivers licence, etc.
    Fee: $20

Reference Letter

Requirements

  • Letter of Application indicating the purpose
  • Photocopy of Nigerian Passport
    Fee $ 20

Police Report

Requirements

Police report with finger prints legalized at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Nigeria and receipt of legalization fee.
Photocopy of valid data page of Nigerian standard passport
Photocopy of Russian Visa
Consular fee: $20
Name clearly written in Russian Language

Authentification of Certificate

Every company is obliged to disclose on its letterhead papers used in correspondence, the following particulars:

  • Name of the company/enterprise
    Address
  • Incorporation Number
  • Names of Directors and Alternate Directors (if any)

In addition, the law requires companies/enterprises to ensure that the Certificate of Registration be displayed in conspicuous positions at their principal and branch offices.

BusinessRegistration

Nigerian entrepreneurs in Russia are invited to register their Business/Companies with the Economic and Trade Section of the Embassy. This is to facilitate the establishment of a data bank to serve the interest of the registered companies in the ongoing Nigeria/Russian Chamber of Commerce.
