The Honourable Minister of Industry, Trade and Investment, and Co-Champion of Digital Inclusion, Dr. Jumoke Omoniyi Oduwole, MFR, is participating in the ongoing High-Level dialogue at the inaugural AfCFTA Digital Trade Forum, holding from 8th -10th May, 2025 in Lusaka, Zambia.
The forum, themed ‘Boosting Digital Trade to Accelerate AfCFTA Implementation,’ aims to promote Africa’s vision of a unified market comprising 1.4 billion people and a GDP of $3.4 trillion. It will facilitate knowledge sharing and showcase best practices in alignment with Nigeria’s extensive and dynamic trade market, as well as the continent. This initiative is anticipated to foster the growth of new digital businesses and jobs.
